Outside Belonging

Join Abby Wong-Heffter and Rebecca Wheeler Walston for a 3-week workshop

Transracial Adoptees and Mixed Race Folks who have lived with hunger to belong

This interactive workshop engages the experience of growing up on the margins, both in our communities and sometimes within our families. The feeling of being perpetually on the “outside” is sadly so familiar. Our identity has been shaped by this experience and it has impacted the way we know connection or lack thereof. We will explore the roles of attachment, origin stories, culture, and relationship patterns. Come to experience resonance, synchronicity, and hope.

March 26, April 9 and 23

5:00-6:30pm PT

$150.00 (scholarships available)

Three 90-minute online gatherings that will include teaching, break outs, writing prompts, body movements and a space to hear from one another's experiences.
